It saddens me to say there are not a lot
We can’t go to church
Or the mall
Or the store
We can’t even go to school anymore
But when things start to happen
When the bullets fly by

Tucked away in a nook

Except the park or the doctor

Bring God back to school

But so many people simply don’t care

It’s guns that force people to mourn
We need places to go where we won’t get shot
